Frequently Asked Questions
Single or duo?
Choose Single if your car has one exhaust outlet, or Duo if your car has two exhaust outlets. The Duo kit includes the additional components needed so you can run the flame effect from both exhausts.
Is it hard to install?
Not at all! The kit is designed to be easy to install, even if you don’t have much experience working on cars. Everything you need is included, and the simple setup makes getting it installed quick and straightforward.
How does it work?
The Hawick Customs Flame Kit works by igniting combustible gases already exiting your exhaust, rather than creating the effect inside the engine. Once activated, the ignition system at the exhaust tip produces a spark that ignites these gases, creating the flame effect behind the vehicle.
This means the system doesn’t require you to intentionally strain or over-rev the engine just to produce the effect.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow your package every step of the way.
What does the kit include?
Your Hawick Customs Flame Kit comes with everything needed for a complete setup, including ignition spark plugs, the control module, wiring harness, activation switch, connectors, and installation hardware.
Everything arrives together in one kit, ready for installation.
